Artist's Description
This is a fine specimen of mediaevel stained glass of South France. Capricorn is the tenth astrological sign in the zodiac, said to be ruled by the planet Saturn. Its symbol is based on the Sumerians' primordial god of wisdom and waters, Enki with the head and upper body of a mountain goat, and the lower body and tail of a fish. The mountain goat part of the symbol depicts ambition, resolute, intelligence, curiosity, while the fish represents passion, spirituality, intuition, and connection with the soul.
About Asok Mukhopadhyay
Hello Friends! I like to introduce myself as a passion worker. Since last ten years I have been engaged in doing digital art. You may find my works in my websites at www.zazzle.com/livart, and www.redbubble.com/people/mindprintz where I put my mind in forms and colors for sharing my inner feelings and ideas with those who care. Until 1993, I had been neck-deep in active librarianship. Still I enjoy doing library oriented designs mostly published by Zazzle at www.zazzle.com/mindprint9. I think, reading and listening to other's thoughts are critical to useful communications. That is why I am here to share your ideas and thoughts about my works. Thank you friends for visiting my gallery, and wish you enjoy my art.
