Alfons Maria Mucha (1860 –1939), known in English as Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist, best known for his distinct style and his images of women. He produced many paintings, illustrations, advertisements, postcards, and designs. This color lithograph ‘Zodiac’ he painted in 1896 is one of his outstanding posters. As the copyright expired the work is now in Public Domain.
